Coach training
Goal
Our goal is to have certified Teqis coaches worldwide. We want to make sure that those who are eager to learn and play teqis will have a chance to do so wherever they are and they could have a coach who would teach them the rules, the right technique, positioning, and all the tactics. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who have a tennis coaching certificate as a prerequisite and who would love to add another sport to their repertoire. Coach training system
This 2-day course includes a theoretical and practical training course on the first day. On the second day, the participants must pass a written test and a practical test to receive their teqis coaching certification. Upon successful completion of the exam, participants will receive their teqis coaching diploma online, which they are guaranteed to receive within 2 weeks of the exam date. This coaching certification is valid for 2 years, after which the person must take another exam to keep their teqis coaching certificate.
Theoretical exam
Prerequisites
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Communication level of English.
- Participation in the theoretical and practical sessions of the Coach training course.
- Any level of tennis coaching certificate.
Theoretical exam
The exam contains multiple-choice and long answer questions.
The minimum level to be accepted is 85%.
Practical exam
Prerequisites
Successful theoretical exam.
Practical exam
Each participant should present a 15-minute teqis training which should include the warm-up, 3-4 teqis exercises and stretching.
Replacement exam
All candidates in the Coach training course are entitled to participate in 1 exam and 1 replacement exam. If a candidate fails at both exams then he/she needs to participate in the course again. In the case of 2 failed exams, the candidate must pay a 30 euro fee to participate in another training course.
Currently, there is only one type of certificate that the prospective coaches can acquire.
